Accountability

I do not think there is anything more frustrating than watching the politicians make promises and then break them when they get back to the old office in the capital.  They tell us one thing and then waltze away and vote a different way when we are not looking.  This is our effort to stop this past practice and call our elected officials on the carpet and use thier own promises and actions as justification for thier position in office.  Almost as bad is where they stand for "no position" which is quite common, like they can't make up thier mind.

In this activity we are focused on our Federal Government, our State Government, the County and we also stop in and check out the local School Boards. We are joining with other Patriot groups to form alliances. In Chester County this is known as CCLA or Chester County Liberty Alliance and is comprised of all the major TEA Parties in Chester County. We cover it from end to end now. There is talk of a coming State wide convention. The group effort enables us to break down the massive flow of legislation, break up the workload and find the problems and subterfuge in the bills being considered and voted on by our elected officials. We have already had some modest success in this area.

We will continue.

We will read the bills.

We will follow who sponsored, what bill.

We will follow who votes for, what bill.

We will document and show who and give factual reasons why they continue to fail us.

We will praise and endorse those that do the correct thing.

We depend on national and state organizations that follow this closer and in more depth than we as people, with real jobs, can afford.  We also have many people that do not have the demands of a regular daily working schedule and these people are our strongest assets, they put in the time in many cases working in our stead.  We coallate the information and attempt to present it with maybe a little analysis, so our members can make thier own decisions based on the facts and the records, not heresay.  Sometime we mess up, but not usually.  Sometimes, even if endorsed, we do not agree with the feeding organizations or we split in some manner.  We read the bills.  You should too and reading the bills provides you a with really good reason to come out and join us in the process. Once you get a gander on what is going on with the bills the politicos create and pass, you will probably come out in disgust.  There are exceptions.
