There is really a lot
you can do to participate. What we try to do as a group is to
break up the workload. As you learn more, you start to realize the
almost overwhelming problems that are present. There is much to
do, meetings to go to, phone calls to make, letters to write and help
with the organization. Many of our members actually work full time
jobs and this is really a second job. This effort consumes an
awful lot of time and energy and if there are just a few, the task is
monumental, if there is more participation, it is much better. You
don't need anything special, no college educational degree required.
Common sense and a basic understanding of right versus wrong goes the
distance with us. We have over 1,000 members now. Some of
the members are real active and some not so active.
People come out of the woodwork to help with the
elections.
Most of our members fundamentally realize what is
at stake here.
